I'vew been using Rimmel Sexy Curves Intense Black for quite a while and I like the brush and the effect it gives but I do find once it's dry it crumbles quite a bit so I'm always having to check I don't have flecks under my eyes.

Also, as I have quite long lashes I find I get little splodges on my eyelids alot.

Anyone got any recommendations? Up to around a tenner? A smaller brush is preferable to I can get into the corners.

I cannot encourage you enough to splash out on a Lancome Hypnose mascara. Roughly £20, but so worth it.

Ooohh, that's a lot Nom. You might have to big it up a little bit for me.
Well, it's widely considered to be the best mascara in the whole world. All the stars and make up artists use it, and I believe the Duchess of Cambridge used it on her wedding day. It does give you huge lashes, especially if, like me, you are rather blessed in that department.

Oh oh oh oh. I want it! It's a shame I'm feeling particularly poor this week. Maybe it's worth continuing with my slightly crappy stuff for another week :)
i tried this on my slightly drying mascara, and it works a treat!

i use argan oil on my face, along with my moisturiser, its very very good!
anyway, i thought id try adding a little bit of the oil to the mascara wand brush.
i swiggled it about in the barrel, curled my eyelashes as usual, and then applied the mascara.

excellent results!! the mascara went on a dream, making my lashes appear thicker and much much longer.

try it! it seems to help condition them, too.
(sorry, i meant i put some oil on my finger tips and rubbed it on the brush, before placing the brush back in the barrel and swiggling it round. you dont need much oil, just a bit, you can always apply a little bit more if/when needed)
This Body Shop one is my current favourite after getting it for Christmas... http://www.thebodysho...p_Eyes&prdcode=30373m It hasn't dried out at all and is very volumising.. it can be a wee bit clumpy if i'm being heavy handed in the morning.. could just be me though! lol!

Up until I got that one I had been using L'oreal's Million Lashes which is my favourite mascara of all time!

This is supposed to be excellent but I haven't gotten round to trying it out yet... http://www.bourjois.c..._fast_perfect_mascara

:) x
Could be a problem if you only want to spend a tenner! unfortunately mascaras that are cheap do exactly what you describe above. I buy Lancome Defincils Mascara, which you can get from Amazon for around 17.00 - it lasts around 4-6 months and it doesn't flake or drop. Might be worth spending a bit more.
