Nibble !!!!...how's your bits ?
Being sarky, oops, failed.
I normally give up chocolate.

I don't think you have to be religious to give up something for Lent any more than you have to to give chocolate eggs at Easter or presents at Christmas.

You shouldn't just pinch the "fun" events and a bit of abstinance is good for self-discipline - it's not exactly observing the Ramadan fast!
Nothing - I am perfect as I am. My only fault is I tell lies.
I have given serious consideration to giving up Answer Bank !
Work.

But they said that it was against their religion when I explained my abstinence. :c(

I was told that I wasn't playing the game and should give up something I liked, rather than hated. I was sure that my logic was unimpeachable but I was sadly not able to convince any other grown up !

I was taught that you didn't have to give something up for lent, but could do something more instead like be Kinder or smile more as an eg.

However I tried to Give up coffee... I only lasted a week.
