Hi, i need to pay an eBay seller £50 as a deposit towards an item at £410, how do i do this? as far as i can see, Paypal will only let me pay the full lot but i want to pay the remainder later.

Just go to your paypal home page and click on'send money' then enter the persons email/paypal address and the amount you want to send. click send and it's done. You can add a mesage saying what the cash is for. Do not click on 'ebay item' on the sale or it will just send you to the ebay item.
Paypal is for any payments to anyone with a paypal account not just ebay.

I think you just change the amount on the invoice and send it.
