I have been reading about a Security Van robbery where the thief had made off with a case containing £10.000,from what I understand when the Muppet's open the case they will be covered in Blue Dye,also the DYE stains the money ,what use would it be ,if the DYE only Stains the edges of the money ,that would be noticeable if they hand over several notes at once, many times I have had stained notes ,these must be ones that have been let through the system by mistake or by will or of course also I suppose some money that has been stolen gets into the economy.

If you've spent notes covered in security dye indicating that it's been used in a robbery and you didn't report tit then i'm pretty sure you're aiding and abetting criminals by laundering their stolen cash for them? Why didn't you report your suspicions so that they could trace the notes further up the chain and maybe catch the criminals involved?
I'm guessing that the dye stains all the money, rendering it useless.

Although I'm no expert, certainly not in that field.

HOYA Please read again I think that you have misunderstood the post,as for your comments on bank notes being covered in dye I am not sure that they all could be covered hence my comment on edges of the notes .
The dye stains the whole of all the notes they are totally useless. A lot of thieves are very stupid and do not realise what they are doing. Would you accept a note that was bright blue all over ?
