Have you heard of a singer called Roly Daniels?

I have recently discovered a singer called Roly Daniels. I know that he was born in India and moved to Ireland - but that is it.

I realise that he isn't everybody's idea of a good singer - but he has a lovely voice.

Any information that anybody could give would be gratefully received. Google gave me millions/trillions of hits but not much solid information.

It is a great song. There is something nice about Roly's voice but I suppose he is more of a nightclub type singer than a recording artist.

I was listening to Seven Spanish Angels by two pensioners earlier - Willie Nelson and Ray Charles. Lovely blend of voices.

Not a lot of info about the guy - Yet is described as a foremost Irish artist.

Are we sure, and I know nothing about this man, that it isn't an alias?

Do you mean that he is really Terry Wogan or Daniel O'Donnell pretending to be Roly Daniels?
