This is a gorgeous little set of bone dominoes in a wooden pencil case type box. There are 4 missing and I'd love to make some more. I can probably get bone from the butchers, but how on earth can I cut it so small and thin? Any advice gratefully received:-)

Could you try a fret saw? Prisoners of war used to make stuff like this. So, I'm thinking their tools would be very basic.

I'll see if my Dad has one tomorrow. I thought I might have needed something electrical!
Saw the bone to size, smooth with sandpaper, cut central groove with a very fine saw, mark spots with a pencil, start a very small hole with something sharp and then hold the tip of a poker on that mark 'til the spot is the right size and then colour in.
Are you sure they are bone?

Sorry for long delay..... no I'm not sure they're not bone, but I hope they're not ivory.
