For 2 little pugs...do you use a prescription brand like Frontline...or are there any cheaper non-prescription alternatives which really work??
It has to include ticks...as we are near Thetford Forest!

Don't use any. Always kept the terriers well combed and have one of those special hooks to remove ticks.

May not be the case in the UK but Frontline is no longer very effective in Australia.
Advantix seems popular for flea and tick control but must NOT be used around CATS.

Vets don't recommend Frontline because it works so well and they don't sell so much. Spray though, not the spot on. Advocate is good but I don't like any of the spot ons.
