Sorry if this question has been asked before but I would really like us to have a Spellchecker on this site. Can you add one for us very soon?
I hope this suggestion will be acceptable.

Yes, it has. Not a problem though.
"I would really like us to have a Spellchecker on this site."
It's nice to know what you want.
"Can you add one for us very soon?"
No.
"I hope this suggestion will be acceptable."
It is. I hope my answers are equally acceptable.
As others have pointed out most browsers offer a spell-check facility. As such we're be developing something redundant which, as others have said, wouldn't pick up grammatical errors and typos anyway.
The edit post facility/preview facility are the most sensible route to go down.

never understood the point, or the need for a preview window...
if you cannot spot a mistake in the main question box, where you are typing, how on earth does opening the exact same text in a new window help?
all it does is open a new window and show the same thing!
if its only available as a choice then ok whatever, but if you HAVE to pass through it in order to submit then its very tedious and slow and makes it especially annoying for people with slow browsers...
