mosaic covered bottles

Has anyone covered glass bottles with pieces if tile to make a mosaic?
Does the surface of the glass need to be abrased first?
What is the best type of stuff to cover the bottle with so that the tiles will stick on ?

Years ago I used to do a lot of this. Firstly no, you do not need to abrase the bottle. Simply stick tem oth evostick and leave to dry. Then just use grouting powder mixed to a smooth paste and slap it all over.Wipe of excess, then when nearly dry give it a good buff. Finished products looked fantastic! Sold 100's of them over a 3 year period way back when.
