Friday is curry night

Not always, but mostly we have curry on a friday night. This evening I'm bucking the trend and going veggie.

We will have:-

Cauliflower in a cumin and tomato based sauce
Spring greens stir fried with green chilli and black mustard seeds
Courgette in a spiced gram flour crust
Pilau rice
Chapatti
Carrot salad with mustard seeds
Tomato salad with toasted cumin and coriander
Tamarind raita
Lime pickle and if I can find any mango chutney.

How many settings should I lay at the table???

Looks totally Masterchef...loving the variery and contrasts...and loadsa veg...YUM!!! Kindly set table for 1 extra tonight.....be there in a flash!

tonight its grilled sirloin steak, mushrooms,peas,chips and onions and a nice glass of lager.
but saturday night, I will curry chicken and make some bombay potatoes with fried mustard seeds, and make an onion salad. great fun, eating.

Mmm, not had a curry for a while, love it - live right near the Curry Mile in Manchester and always feel so hungry walking through, especially early evening when you can smell them starting cooking up for the evening.

We'll have a curry tomorrow night when we get back to Hants. There's an amazing tskeaway down the road from me. X

Hi Boo,
Arthur has started eating again, and now runs to food when you put it down. He is still very fussy about what He eats, but a vast improvement. i am going to attempt to dress His damaged ear on Sunday, and give him a wash, but I must say He is looking much better, sitting up and watching things now, so maybe He was just under the weather, and its fingers crossed for a bit longer. thanks for asking.

It was really good. Too much leftover, but that is to be expected when there is only two of you.
