I feel awkward when asking this, but has anyone(female) ever experienced a sharp pain going through them and up towards their chest when having an orgasm?
i know it sounds weird, but after i had a biopsy taken I get this pain nearly every time i have a really good orgasm, the ones that really build up to a full climax, only sometimes this kills the final relief of pleasure!!

yes, i had a cone biopsy and experienced similar reactions. sometimes the pain seemed to go right through to my bottom and last for 10 minutes so i could hardly bear it. then it gradually died away over the next half hour or so but left me feeling weak from the pain, and angry that my climax was being ruined.

i think it might be something to do with the muscles but not sure. anyhow, it took a few years but now i don't get the pain any more. basically the movement that happens in your cervix when you orgasm is probably in the region of the biopsy and it will probably take a good while to heal properly, ie for all the internal tissue/muscle structure to be strong again.

maybe you could go visit the 'women's health' department at your hospital - the same place you go for smear tests and disease tests. because it's all women it's very nice and they are caring. if you have one near you give them a ring and ask to see one of their doctors (not the nurses who do the normal testing). they are used to all sorts of problems so the one you are experiencing needn't be embarrassing at all. they may do an internal exam (if you give permission) but this is good as it will ensure there are no problems.

good luck

Hi,
thanks for your reply, it is more reassurance that it can happen more than anything, I did actually ask the gyne about it when i went back after the biopsy, who just looked at me blank and said they had not heard of it happening before, but supposed it could be linked!! Also had a similar reaction from GP, have had all checks so nothing bad going on, still being monitered.
You answer has put my mind at rest and I know now that I am not just naking it all up.
Thanks again.
I am sorry but I can not picture this but would be willing to learn. Can you give me a demonstration of this and I promise I will be gentle?
