So, I have had a company car for the last 5 years and now need to get my own car and get it insured. Previous to having a company car I had about 5 years no claims. In the last 5 years with my company car a claim was never made on my car. Where do I stand. Do my 5 years no claims from before I had a company car carry over or do I have to start from zero no claims again?

Thanks

In my experience the employer may provide a letter confirming your no claims record

Explain the situation to the broker / proposed insurer and see what they will allow you. If your employer will provide you a letter as outlined above, you will probably be granted some NCD.
