Cracked Tongue...

I've got a crack right bang in the middle of my tongue. It's about 1cm going across the way and is quite painful. Any ideas of what could be causing it?

I feel for you tho, I had a cracked tongue once - hurt like hell. Don't know how it happened but I do know its a good idea to stay away from salt!

sounds like a vitamin B defiency, think it's B6, but to be sure take some vitamin B multi supplements they should sort it!..........

This is a quite common condition, cause unknown, not treatment effective, but it will go without untoward effect.

Very little or nothing to do with Vitamin deficiency.

Could be oral thrush, show it to a pharmacist they might give you Daktarin spray or something similar. Oraldene mouthwash might help

Thanks for all the answers... I'll see about some mouthwash today... And maybe a bar of soap for Karen's mouth as well ;-)
