cleaning camping knives

hello there I have various knives stainless steel and leather covers can anyone reccommend a good metal cleaner for stainless steel which would help with rust and aslo a leather cleaner to stop the leater smelling all mouldly/musty.

thanks in advance, ideally if these could be something I can get at tesco this would be useful

Are you sure the knives are stainless steel? Stainless steel doesn`t rust.

For the knives Brasso should do it, if they're badly rusted/tarnished, go over them with 1000 grit wet and dry paper/water/washing up liquid - then the Brasso..
As for the leather - dubbin or Nikwax.

what do y0u mean by '1000 grit'...sandpaper or some type of sharpener ? I use a dremel usually, should I sand off rust then brasso? Thanks
