Blackberry running VERY slow

Overnight my blackberry bold 9780 has started to run painfully slow. So slow that I actually can't use it. So I took the simcard out and put it in my old phone for the meanwhile and my blackberry is working perfectly fine without the simcard in, not being slow at all. Should I just go ask for a new simcard or is there another problem?

If you don't have the SIM, are all your numbers etc on the phone, not the SIM?

Most numbers are on my phone, pictures etc are on my memory card

hmmmm, restore factory settings, may be its beneficial or get a new software installed :) but be carefull , it may cause important data loss, so before taking any step, transfer data to some other device, mobile or whatever
