Feels bad saying it but i enjoyed my time alone! This house can be "overbearing" sometimes and there only is 3 of us and a dog lol. X

When I was slightly younger than you are now, I love my time alone. Also had a pooch too (family mutterooni, more mother's than anyone elses)
I'm now of an age when my sons would wish Mr Alba and I would burger off :-)

(Like that's going to happen, teenage sons and an empty house !!)

Plus some folk in here dont understand other peoples space and boundaries haha! I kee meaning to get a lock on the door but cant pay a joiner just now so :0(

Be you in Maryhill? we're t'other side of the Clyde. He could help with advice on what type of lock and ask you questions on what type of door you already have to suggest a good lock etc.

I love my own space, which I do get because there is only myself and the present Mrs Hughes at home now.

She was away for five weeks in February and March, and i have to say the novelty of being on my own wore off pretty quickly!

She is away again in April, this time for six weeks, I am not looking forward to it!!

Coming from a large family its so great to be living on my own, I always get the last Rolo, always get the last word in, and the remote control belongs to me.

Hey Tinks,

I have always loved staying at mums, and living with her and my stepdad when I have done! Moved back there when I split up with my ex 2 years back and really enjoyed it! Mind you my mum thinks I am mad anyway as when my ex and I were organising a holiday for ourselves we invited them along, and also his mum and sister.

Maybe I am just weird!? :-)
