Is it ok to use a phone with a cracked face? The rest of it still works fine.

Why not ? Although I think most would want to get it repaired. If it works, keep it dry, should be ok. Although I'd suspect the display might deteriorate over time.

My camera lens is cracked on my phone but it still takes photos OK.

My face has quite a few cracks these days, but I can still manage to use the telephone ;o)

I know loads of people who've managed to completely shatter their iphone screens but they still work. Just makes reading texts a bit harder.

Phone screens are fairly cheap to replace, you can do it yourself if you buy the correct tool to open the phone and a new screen off Ebay.
