Lost links

Sorry - stupid question, but my memory has failed me!

I have just cleared down an old computer, ready to give to somebody else. When I get to the Windows 98 desktop, there are two links it says it can't find and for which it starts to browse. I can't remember the name and location of the file I need to edit to get rid of them.

You can just delete the icons from the desktop.

Unfortunately, vehelpfulguy, there aren't any icons to delete - it is a file reference it is looking for.
