looks like being a nice bright, sunny day here again, spent the last three days in the garden. nothing that really pleasurable. out garden goes up in tiers and the roots of some trees have started to push the walls down. known locally as cornish elms they send out thick roots and pop up everywhere. the longest pop up we've found so far was about 15 ft awaqy from parent tree. haven't found anything to kill them off either. any suggestions?
Morning all. Nice and bright here today. We had an awful day here on the coast yesterday. Mist hardly lifted at all and it was a hat and gloves day as we were up on the clifftop for Sports Relief and it was freezing cold in the mist. We could hardly see each other. Had a sharp frost overnight too.
Morning everyone! Not usually up at 7 like I was this morning but we are off for a two night hotel break (bargain - so can't be bad!) Its in Towcester, Northants ..... I know about Stoke Bruerne (the canal village and museum) and looking forward to visiting that place but are there any beautiful little villages or places (not the races!) that locals could advise us about please? see you all Thursday - fingers x for nice weather, sounds lovely! x
anne have a good time. sounds a great idea.
wbm neither had we until we moved here. what with them and the gorse we haave quite a problem on our hands. i'm beginning to hate gorse. it spreads so quickly, regenerates on old wood, even when cut down to ground level, and it is a very touch wood. can't just be clipped. and even worse it has rpockles. eughhhhhh.
