subarachnoid haemorrhage

i had a subarachnoid haemorrhage 2 years ago and it is filling up again and i have to get it recoiled . how dangerous is it a second time

Then it dawned on me that, in some ways, you're probably better off now than you were before you had the subarachnoid haemorrhage. Prior to that time, you were probably unaware that you had a berry aneurism. Unfortunately that aneurism burst and you suffered a subarachnoid haemorrhage. You, however, were one of the lucky 40% who survive such a life-threatening event.
Your position now is that you still have a berry aneurism but, this time round, your condition is known about and being monitored. OK, I can't hide the figures which show that 60% of all people who suffer a subarachnoid haemorrhage die within a month of the event but that was the same position you were in before. This time your condition can be treated before a haemorrhage occurs so, while I suggest you read the information on the BBC website, this should reassure you rather than worry you:

The real worry about berry aneurisms is that they frequently go undetected. Your present aneurism is known about and being treated, so the risk is much reduced. Stop worrying and trust your doctors.

Thanks chris the info you gave me was very helpful and i had a look at the bbc website which also helped, I have to get 2 more coils put in in january <7 in total >, I trust my doctors 100% it,s just i was in shock when i got told about it on monday and did not think to ask questions about it till now,like how common is it for the coils to move and let it start to fill up again no one knows, but i know i am in good hands and that i,m so LUCKY to be alive. once again thanks chris carolj
