Ricky Gervais new comedy

My buddy has just emailed to say that Ricky Gervais is starting filming a new sitcom set in a Retirement Home ,the working title is DEREK R.G has asked Sean Connery to play his main foil ,I must say that I have seen Life's To Short and apart from the fact it is not very original, it is also not funny ,my main Gripe is that Warick's facial expressions are a mirror of Gervais and Merchant,It would take a very strong character to act along side these two,
One of my ideas for Life's to Short would have been not to have everything at a normal persons height but to also change some of the props to suit Warriick's height leaving other props as were .Made me laugh when I thought of it maybe that is what happened to the script.Any thoughts.

James Bond in a retirement home, got to get my head around that one, and wouldn't be watching at any rate. Anything that RG has done, i have loathed, just like the smug bstard.

CHIRPY CHIRPY Filming for the Pilot is taking place in London I am not sure where if you look up Ricky Gervais agent via the net you might if you are very cunning worm your way in, Do you have a Equity Card if not it would be worth getting one as there is a lot of extra work to be had .Let me know .

I've only seen the first two Lifes Too Short and I thought it was quite amusing. Not belly ache laughter but I'd be happy to watch the whole series. I do however feel that there is no need whatsoever for Ricky Gervais' presence in it. I think he has some good ideas about shows but ruins them by putting himself in them.

Lifes Too Short is very good. The 3rd episode has seen it really come into it's own.
