Rolled gold is just a thin layer of gold, over a base metal, not gold plated, thicker than that.
As such, I don't think you will get much for it.

unless I read it wrong, in that case I am sorry Mrs O :)
I sold some gold last week. Before I did, I googled the price for gold and rolled gold...dammit if I can remember which website it was.
The price they quoted was spot on with the jewellers I sold it to
I used a site last year, and they were brilliant. Cant recall name except to say it wasn't a 'cash for gold' type name. myy gut feeling is that it was a womans name.
try a reputable jewellers, i am always araid that if sent off stuff, wouldn't get the true value. Took my little bits and bobs of gold jewellery to a proper jewellers and got £250
Rolled gold is worth next to nothing as Bezzy says, somewhere usually in the region of 50p -70p per gram, but if you have a fair bit lying around you might realise £50 of it.
the cost of reclaiming rolled gold is too high real gold I second the positive report for Lois went to their shop in Jewellery quarter in Birmingham got a much better price than a lot of the others around at the time and advice on selling the stuff too good to scrap
