I got a Mothers Day card today! 10 days late!

My daughter swore she had sent me one but it never arrived. So today I get a card thru the leterbo from Royal mail saying there was an envelope with too few stamps on to deliver and i would have to drive to sorting office to collect it. Got there and it was my daughters card to me. She had put on a normal 1st class stamp, and apparently it was a "heavy" card and needed an extra 12p stamp! so I had to pay the 12p, plus £1.00 handling fee, even though it didnt actually go anywhere! lol

lol, I have to say that as somebody who posts a lot of letters, even I would have thought it was just a standard 1st class stamp. Bless, and she wa sso annoyed when I got cards from all the others. Ive just txt her to say she is bloody early for next year!

I got a wedding invitation the only day, it was a fat card, we too had to pay for the privilege of receiving it....
