What is the best or worst shop you have shopped in, who has given best value and customer service. B&Q for me worst customer service, best Marks and Spencer

I am surprised to see all the negatives for Tesco - ours is big, but excellent - the staff do take you to the items if you ask them. Very helpful.

I think attempting to categorise all of a supermarket chain by extrapolating from your local shop is pointless ... my local Aldi is fabulous (friendly & helpful staff and a clean & tidy store) - but others I have been to have been horrible. Similarly my two local Sainsbury stores are chalk/cheese.

Agree, dave. But when thousands of people give their opinions, the conclusions are statistically relevant. In January, Which? did a report on Supermarket shopping - Waitrose at the top (customer score 83%) and The Co-operative and Tesco bottom (score 46%).

My local Aldi and Lidl are first class...especially at 8am on Saturday morning....I love em.

Worst, Tesco Dereham, they had a youth on the fresh meat counter who couldn't cut 6 chops for me as he wasn't insured to cut meat! Morrisons are OK here but I've been in some bad ones. Doesn't it vary from area to area, seems a bit unfair to damn all Tescos on my experience here, although, why not? The sad thing is I can't think of an outstandingly good place, just goes to prove Shakespeare was right, The evil that men do lives on, the good is oft interred with their heart. No Google either, I'm impressed with myself even though bits are probably wrong.
Our local tool hire firm has just fixed a chain saw under warrenty that my s -in-l borrowed and b@@@ered, well done them.
