Why would Audrey need David to sign the salon back. She always gave the
impression she was quite well off without using any money from the salon.
First there was the life insurance from her Alfie and also the money [which was
quite a considerable sum] which she inherited from her friend Alma.

When and where did David train to be a hairdresser and Audrey refers to him as her chief stylist, Kylie is home teaching Max when does this happen in between her input in the salon. Audrey shouldn't have money problems or she wouldn't have signed the salon over in the first place.
