Our broadband connection is TERRIBLE. Now I am not sure if it is the internet signal into the house or our wireless router signal to the computers.

I do have a spare Belkin router somewhere, if I used that, is it just a case of plug and play?

Alternatively it was recommended we go to another BB supplier - how easy is it to change that?

Why not just connect one of your computers by cable to your existing router and see if things improve?

Well I've got to the bottom of it. I worked out how to do an online test. Our downstream connection is 266 and upstream is 309. Even the bloke at Sky said he thought it was terrible. So I've changed providers and gone to a fibre optic one.
