Please help

I have recently been told that my dad is not my dad! They both lied to me for 21 years. (they have not been together since i was 5,and hate each other and both very selfish parents and never been there for me) I am in bits about this. They both knew he was not my dad but at 3 months gone met and decided that is what they wanted. I want him removed from my birth certificate how do i do this?? Mariex

Firstly my darling is that your 'parents' didn't actually lie to you - because I doubt if you ever sat them down and aksed if they were really your mum and dad. They hid the fact because they wanted to brig you up as THEIR child, and because they both loved you dearly. I know this is a very hard time for you, btu life can be like that. Please don't be too hard on your dad. After all, he took you and your mum on, even knowing (you) the child wasn't his. If he's been even fairly good to you throughout your life please don't cut him off now.

BTW. I don't actually think anyone can be removed from a birth certificate. Sorrys hun and I wish you the best life can offer you. xxx
