Has anyone had a better deal than this?

Shopping at Waitrose this afternoon, I picked up two banoffee (sp?) desserts reduced from £1.29 each to 29 pence each.
I looked at my receipt and found they'd been on offer, two for two pounds, so I got a refund of 58 pence for buying them, but they'd only cost 58 pence anyway, so I got them for nowt!
This has happened before and I've mentioned it to the staff at Waitrose, but it still happens.
Bargain eh? Anyone else had this happen to them?

Once we realised this, we went back and the freezer was well stocked with asparagus soup in no time! I think Sainsbury twigged this though eventually and tweaked the system!
Years ago when the kids were little I booked a caravan holiday at Haven.
I got the second week at half price - buy one week get the second half price offer.
I got a 30% discount on the total amount because I took my grandmother with me, another 30% discount because I took my OAP mother.
Then they gave me another discount for going in May.
It was quite bizarre, we got a very nearly free holiday and the weather was fab. And of course we had built in baby sitters!

Best deal I ever had was on Easyjet when it was just starting up....in those early days first to book got the really cheap seats and the price went up as the planes got filled....I spotted an advert from them that said first 10 to book on a Luton to Zurich flight went FREE...didn't believe it but to my delight I got two free flights to see my grandkids..Easyjet have moved on since then....even charge per suitcase now...
