Insuring Learner Driver
My daughter who has a learner permit was quoted a huge sum for insuring a small car which she has yet to purchase and put in her own name.
I discovered from online quotes that if the car was placed in my name and for insurance purposes i put myself as main driver and then added my daughter as an extra driver the premium was reduced a great deal. Have you any more suggestions as to how we could reduce it any further.
I know that i am taking on the risk but is that not what families are for!

Someone was on TV from an insurance co a while ago and he said they look out for people who get quotes for young driver, find it too expensive and then get a second quote with experienced driver as the main driver. Be careful how you go about it, all quotes are saved apprently.
