Tree to grow in a large tub

I want to find a slow growing tree to put in a large tub, I would like something that flowers, not sure what to look at!......it can't be prickly or thorny!.....

I've got 2 Lilacs, 2 Wisterias a Fig tree a Peach tree (normal size) and an apple tree - all growing in pots...

Seriously ? Anything you like. The tub will have a dwarfing effect. I have a liquidambar and a parrotica that have been tub grown for about 20 years. Water well and trim to shape if needed..oh and I've got a copper beech as well. They aren't bonsai or anything fancy, I just keep them in ordinary tubs in John nines number 3 with water gel crystals
