I have a charcoal grey/blue striped double breasted pure new wool suit. It has the name "Saint John, Paris Roma London" on a hand-sewn label on the upper inside pocket and there is a "pure new wool" label tucked inside the lower inside pocket. I cannot find a size in the jacket or the trousers.
Can anyone tell me anything about this please. Thanks in advance.

Can you give an approximate age of the suit and when/where you first came by it?
You have put this in Genealogy - Shopping might be better!
All I can find is a ladies' store. Where did you get it?
it's the 'lower inside pocket' that is confusing me, that's not a usual feature of a modern suit jacket is it?
dont mean to pry but this post was at six first answer at 8ish dont suppose theres any one there although im intrigued now found one for sale on e bay
late 60s early seventies maybe
I would have replied at 6 but I was doing some genealogy stuff for the previous question and then I forgot about this one. The way I read it I got the impression Titchmac thinks the suit is of some age and of very good quality.
