Is it possible (and legal) to watch a film for free on the computer?
25 Answers
I caught the last half hour of The Shawshank Redemption on the telly the other night and would like to watch the whole film.
I've tried ITV Player/Catch-up but it's not there.
I've typed "watch film for free" and that sort of thing into Google, got several sites that say I can watch it for free, but so far I've had no luck in actually getting the film on my computer screen. One site said it was free but asked for a credit card.
I can't buy the DVD as I have no player, and no video recorder either. :o(
Any ideas please peeps? Thanks a bunch. x

Mrs.Chappie, word of warning if you go down the Lovefilm road, remember to cancel before free trial ends. As they will debt your account and they are notorious for poor customer care and I will be hard to stop them taking you cash each month. Thry have been on Watchdog (BBC) loads of complaints.
Its a Fab film, another film to watch is Glory.

Thanks for all your replies, peeps. x
LNM, know what you mean about cancelling a subscription, I reckon that's how they get a lot of their custom - peeps forgetting to cancel.
I'll look out for Glory but tbh I rarely watch films, only caught the end of Shawshank as it was on the telly in a hotel lounge I just happened to be hanging around in (ooooh, that didn't sound quite right but you know what I mean). :o)
The last film I watched properly on the telly is The Green Mile, another great film. I must've seen it three or four times now, and every time it's made me cry, but I can't help but watch it.
