Hello! I was wondering what an 'absorption axis' is and how it effects polarized film.

In simple terms it sharpens up light of specific wavelengths and produces deeper colours by filtering out glare. A shorter range of colour wavelengths get through to the film plane....roughly!! I does get a bit on the complex side
