Bullfinch responsible for burglary?
14 Answers
I posted on here about a bullfinch tapping on my windows and ended up having to close the shutters. Well, last Friday I was burgled (came across them in the bedroom) and I'm nearly sure that the fact the shutters were shut (something I very rarely do) made them think I was away. Wonder how this would stand in court!! LOL Main thing I wasn't hurt and they left peacefully, though I do admit with jewellery and my English money.

They do say a bird tapping on the window is a bad sign ... after a bullfinch tapped on our window for a few days running we had an expected death in the family. Haven't seen the bird since, that was about five years ago. Sorry, dont want to worry you coccinelle that's why I didn't mention it in my last thread x
Poor you - how awful to find burglars actually in your house - glad you weren't harmed, although sorry for your loss of jewellery and money. It sounds as if you live abroad, do you? What a strange story - its an interesting one though, why not contact the daily mail, they like quirky little stories like this.
