Sir Chris Hoys father, is moaning that their is only two tickets available for their family to watch him in the olympics, so he has to decide who should get them, his mum and dad, or his wife and sister,surely his wife should have a ticket, and then he should decide who gets the other one,why should the whole family get free tickets, pay like anyone else has to

The competitors haven't had access to any more than 2 tickets each even if they were happy to pay. I think thats really really really mean. They should be allowed to pay for up to say 6 each for each event they're competing in .

In the meantime if it were me I'd give one ticket to my wife and the other to my Dad.

It's fairly obvious I would have thought that most people would need around 4 tickets. Since we're being our usual disorganised stingey selves you would have thought they could at least have had the option to buy more than 2, but no, nothing about these Olympics is going to be right, it's going to be a fiasco from beginning to end.

That really is disgraceful, I'm sure they don't expect to get them free but they should be allocated a few for their close family, its such an honour for them to be chosen.

I`m sure they would be more than happy to pay if they were guaranteed tickets to the event of their choice. For a once in a lifetime event athletes should be able to request a fair number of tickets for family.
