She has asked me to let her post here. So may I introduce you to Mrs MM.

Good evening all. I've asked MM to allow me a say. When I was 14 I worked on the market. 6 till 6 every Saturday. I was paid £1 plus a fish and chip lunch. I loved it and did it until I left school. On leaving school I took an office job and hated it. The women were without exception all nasty catty pieces of work, as soon as someone left the office everyone talked about them. So I decided this was not for me either. So I took a university placement. When I got my degree I went to work in an Engineering factory. I loved it worked there until I was 58. Then redundancy's were announced and the same b1tch that made my life hell when I worked in the office 30 years earlier now worked in the head office of my company. It's been nearly 4 years now since I lost my job. I love retirement. Not short of money, but if i see the b1tch crossing the road I would still run her over.

ED, If you don't like my post don't blame micmak.

ditto NOX - if I was that convinced that I'd been picked on, I'd have done something about it. No point in bearing a huge grudge for the rest of your days if you could have vindicated yourself.
I’m confused. Unless I’m reading this wrong, it seems Mrs MM worked for many years at a job she loved, and when one of several made redundant, she blamed a woman she had worked with 30 years earlier. Was this same woman responsible for the other redundancies – and if so, did she hold a grudge towards all those people too?

It’s possible the woman didn’t even remember who you were, Mrs MM – and grudges are bad for the soul. I'd say it's time to move on and get over it.
holding grudges for a very long time is imo not healthy, move on.
