Dare I say it? I hope you've all had a bright, warm, dry bank holiday! wishfull thinking eh, what have you been up to? TV? Pub or just chilling out?

I work in a charity shop on a Monday and we were open - as were most of the shops in town...... or should I say 'shops in the city' as we are now a city. :-)

Absolutely bucketed it down all day here in Hereford. Did all the usual boring chores, made cakes (let the kids decorate them with icing and smarties), did some sciencey thing with them, then finally gave in and took them to Mac Donald's for tea just to get out of the house.

went to morrisons in Lincoln, just for the ride, weather dismal, went to ASDA in Boston, and got a bargain from the fish counter. Smoked haddock, wrapped up, should be £6. reduced to 50p. I had three packs. made up for the rotten
weather, I love smoked haddock and a soft boiled egg for breakfast. mind you, I am in my office/ caravan in the garden and it is pid**** down. and they just banned the hose pipe!
