This stupid story goes on and on .... interviews on This Morning, articles in every newspaper. It now does seem VERY suspicious to me - I am now wondering if the whole thing is a very elaborate April Fool hoax, which the whole country fell for - if so it will go down in history as the best ever!

In the article it said her "hunter" husband shoots wild boar in France with his rifle and then finishes them off with a spear (ugh) Someone posted a comment which I thought was hilarious that if he didn't kill them first time and "needed to finish them off with a spear" - he probably needed to go to SpecSavers which probably is the reason he finds her most attractive!
theres a notion that this all happens to her in france... i have heard that men are more forward and make romantic gestures and that the women are more bitchy etc in france... but is this true? it sounds ridiculous in the uk, but could there be an element of truth in it all...?
i think shes deluded but i do wonder where she gets the idea from...

If you tell a story often enough people believe it to be true. Elizabeth Taylor was once called the most beautiful woman in the world and the tag sticked....even though she was competing with 2 billion other women in the world and she was in her late sixties.
This woman is just replacing ET with the label.

I like the bit where she says that wiaters wave away her credit card in restaurants.
Yup, waiters are so well paid that they will stand a stranger a meal, even though she is going to walze off into the night with merely a smile.
I liked Amanda Platelll's take on it - 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder ...' which is why no-one likes anyone seeing it in themselves, and the bragging and maoning in equal measure in a paid-for feature in a newspaper.

Actually, on a serious not, what this story and its fallout does highlight is the massive amount of anger held by people who use the Internet.
This poor deluded woman has received the most poisonous abuse after her article and wheras i would be the first to conclude that she is both deluded and somewhat self-obsessed in equal measure, neither of thos personality quirks deserve the seriously unpleasant backlash she has received, which says far more about the posters than the lady herself.
Anonymity is no reason to pour vitriol on a complete stranger - it's not nice.
