TOOL (E) DRIVE QUERY
I have a new HP Pavilion dv6 laptop with 80GB and 1Tb drive (Blu-Ray)
I keep getting a message;
"HP TOOLS(E).
You are running out of disk space etc."
Follow instructions to clean up which takes me to the Rubbish bin...which is completely empty ?????
How can this be???I have not got any docs stored,not downloaded lots of things,only Google Earth and a few saved web pages...nothing like I have on my netbook or desktop...and do not have this message coming up on them!!!
I am now in the process of copying the contents of TOOLS (E) to a DVD+R ,in the hope of being able to empty the E drive.
Can I then delete,if I can,what`s in my E drive or will this mess my laptop up.
Don`t know if anyone out there has this same laptop and knows exactly what I am talking about here...but am desparate here !!!!
So HELP PLEASE!!

My guess is that you have set up some sort of automatic backup program, and it is putting the backups on the E drive. Because the E drive is so small it is filling up quickly.
If you have set up a backup program then either switch it off, or set it to put stuff on another larger partition.
