Radio Code Corsa

Took our L reg Corsa for battery change. IHave correct code but looks like Ive messed it up .No power is showing.Tried too many times!!!Help

It will time out after a set amount of time and let you try again (you'll probably have to leave the ignition on)

I think I tried more than 9 times and this has made power go off.Book says more than 9 tries and you nee expensive repair by Vauxhall.

As CF said, it takes about 8 to 10 hours before you get another 4 chances to input the code. The igniton NEEDS to be on for those 8 to 10 hours. so you will have to wait until you have clocked up that ammount of driving time. The radio must be TURNED ON for the time to elapse.

it would still power up but say the word safe in the display if its on a timeout
if you have no power id start by lookin at the fuses

The standard fit to an L-reg Corsa would, by today's standards, be pretty s**t judging by what my J-reg Astra had. Just go to Halfords and get a half-decent unit for a handful of coppers.
