What has been your biggest waste of money ever? Either a purchase, experience, whatever, but you seriously wish you had just not bothered with it and had saved the money.

Pretended to be grown up & bought a Volvo - my god it was boring.

Sold it at a loss after a few weeks and bought an elderly Celica GT4 mad-nutter-bastard turbo - which was completely impractical, drank oil and ate tyres but was FUN :+)

Has to be an epilator ,I needed to drink copious quanities of gin to do one leg , never did use it again. Sort of thing youd give your husnabds first wife as a gift hehe

I made my parents buy me Arthur Mee set of children's encyclopedias with a rexine binding (I think it was a doorstep salesman). I pleaded with them and swore I would use them. Never did and ended up donating them to the library. I think back and blush!
