They don't bother with the Human Rights Act, they just get rid.

Good post Dodger.
Let's hope it is on or around 30 April as Telegraph says.
AOG - the date of 30 April is purely a legal requirement, the government are obliged to post a set date in order for the extradition process to move forward.

The fulfilment of that date depends entirely on an absence of legal argument from AQ's legal team, and of course, they are not going to sti back and let him go without a fight, nor would you expect them so to do.

The exhaustion of every legal process open to use, up to and including a return to the European Court could take anything up to two years to complete, so if anyone is thinking this is all over bar the plane ride, they should think again.
Smell the coffee, chaps - this has been going on since 2001 ☺

I wonder who's paying for his QC, Mr Fitzgerald, and what it's cost so far?

We could just have paid him a few million pounds and bought him an aeroplane.
believe it when i see it.
He and the others will be here for years.
Good riddance
I'd like to know who's paying for all his lawyers. If he had to fork out himself he would have left years ago. Its not as though he's penniless as I have seen reports his assets are over £300,000.

"I'd like to know who's paying for all his lawyers. "

You and me, plus millions of other taxpayers, are paying his legal bills pdq1.
