We have fairly regular "bar stewards" short cutting through our back garden in the darkness and damaging my neighbours fence as well as ours.
What defensive measures are legally allowed here in Scotland e.g. razor wire? barbed wire?
Replies appreciated and perhaps any old 'Chieftan Tanks' you may have lying around (with or without ammo).....
If you like Berberis, then go for a mixed hedge of Berberis and Pyracantha. You could also add gorse to that as well, you must have plenty of that up there.
You can trim them to keep it tidy and would deter almost anyone, unless they have masochistic tendencies.
isn't it the time of year when all gardens should also be covered with well-rotted horse manure.....or any old poo......which should inconvenience anyone stepping across it and make them very popular when they get home.
pyracantha can be trained up fences,,,,, as can good old fashioned blackberry
also you can't put barbed wire or razor wire up but you could zigzag wires on posts low down in your garden as 'plant supports' if they double as tripwires so much the better but I did not suggest this alternative use
