I bet all the newspapers had the obituary ready.
The media had us believe he was dying, it would be wonderful if he should recover from this latest illness .
Newspapers and other media organisations have obituaries ready for thousands of people...
I doubt anyone has written one for me.
Considering the chap has been very ill and in a coma, don't think anyone expected him to come out of the coma. Hope he keeps improving.

Write your own Howard, most of the movers and shakers do, or have their PR people do it for them.
Great he is recovering from pneumonia but do remember he does still have cancer. Our thoughts are with his family.
A MacMillan nurse I knew said that a couple of years ago a terminal patient who had already gone into a coma and had 24 hours live - family were at bedside waiting to say goodbye. out of nowhere the lady suddenly sat up, freaking everybody out, and got out of her bed where she went into the kitchen and made a cup of tea. Went back to bed, drank it, and passed away a few hours later. My friend the nurse said if she hadnt seen it she would have never believed it had happened.
He has two cancers. He's not going to live long. Liver cancer gives you an average of 6 months to live. Hopefully it'll be the liver cancer that kills him as that's the least painful.

My Dad lasted 7 months.

Yes, still a bleak outlook for him but what a strong will to live he has. No accounting for the human spirit.
