It's not on their French site either but I don't give up easily! It's on the German site:
Go to http://www.umax.de/WebNew/index.htm
Put your mouse over 'Support', then click on 'Treiber-Download'.
In the 'Please Select' box select 'Digitalkamera'.
It'll seem as if nothing has happened but, if you go to the 'Please Select' box again, you can now select 'Astrapix 650'.
Click 'Search'.
Click on the download link beneath the Union flag.

Oops! Perhaps I assumed that you're familiar with downloading and installing drivers when you're not. Sorry!
The file you've downloaded is AP650.zip
The 'zip' tells you that it's a compressed file which needs to be 'unzipped' prior to use. For this you need suitable software. I believe that, if you've got Windows XP, then this is built in. Otherwise you need something like WinZip or IZArc.
Find the file and double-click on it. If you've got XP or suitable software then the unzipping software will start and ask you where you want to place the unzipped files. (The default will be the same folder where AP650.zip is. Use this location unless you've got any other preference).
If double-clicking AP650.zip only produces a box asking which program you want to open the file with, you've probably not got any relevant software.

IF YOU'VE SUCCESSFULLY UNZIPPED THE FILE, PLEASE SKIP THE NEXT PARAGRAPH
If you've not got the right software to unzip the file which you downloaded, you need - you've guessed it - another download! Download IZArc (for free) from here:
http://www.izarc.org/
That file is IZArc35.exe. Double click on it to install IZArc.
Once IZArc is installed, you can now double click on AP650.zip and IZArc will open with AP650.zip shown in the right-hand pane. Right-click on it and select 'extract'. Then close IZArc.
Now, whether you had unzipping software or you had to install it, we've finally got to the position where we've unzipped that original file which you downloaded. This will have created a folder called AP650 (which, unless you chose another location, will be in the same folder as your original download). Double-click on the AP650 folder. You'll now see a file called AstraPix650.exe. Double-click on this file to install the driver. You might need to restart your PC before it will recognise the new driver.
Hoping that we've finally got it sorted!

Hi Chris, Couldn't make head nor tail of installing drivers so, I emailed Umax. I can buy the disc for 4.99. They ask for the model of scanner and operating system. I have xerox scanner and windows xp, is this what they mean. Thanks for all your help, you saved me having to buy another camera. Eva...
