That's more of a Ditloid Than a phrase or saying


Talking in Ones Sleep sounds Better But that may not be correct.

It means that there are twenty in a score, and it is derived from the fact that there are twenty in a score.

A score is a group of twenty of anything. For example the King James Bible speaks of the life span as three score years and ten, meaning seventy.


It comes from the Old English word scoru, meaning twenty.
