Do you mean the knitting pattern? You could knit a very basic one yourself on large pins. Most of the high street shops are selling mass produced cardis or jumpers which look just like they have been hand knitted. Unless you mean the ones using fine wool?

I just know!!

I wish i knew the way to describe it. Its flat and big loops the knit- loose and "holey" xx
I crotched a coat with a hood in the loop design, in double wool, brown and a beige colour, fo my daughter when she was about four. As she grew, I added to it at the bottom, and sleeves, and inserted a longer zip. That coat was so warm, and it lasted years.

Thanks ann!! Ill watch that... Xxxx
Knitting and crotchet is easy when you get the hang of it. I don't any more, the old arthritis, but I used to knit whilst on my excercise bike, going for miles, whilst watching tv.
Learn how to knit! There are lots of easy patterns, books to help you get started, and (I hate to say this) but YouTube have some good demos although the best way is to get someone to show you how. You can get knitting wool on e bay. One tip however - always check your knitting, before you start. This is called doing a tension square. I knit a lot, but I knit tighter than most people, if you don't check how tight your knitting is your garment won't work out. Good luck and persevere it's worth it you can also knit bags belts leg warmers...........................

Find a proper wool shop some of them keep a list of women who will knoit to order be prepared to pay for wool and pattern and about £25 for the knitter although some charge by the ball used or per 100g of wool
