I posted about a vunerable adult & a rubbish social worker. The vunerable lady in question has told a neighbour that she is being fleeced of her savings. The police have finally become involved.

vindicated indeed, have they got the bloke in question. If not why not.
Good on you Mrs O, hopefully the lady will be reimbursed and looked after properly.
Very good news.
this is what makes me so enraged, that they say they can't help, the person then is harmed in some way, then they get involved, wrong bloody way round.

I've given them all the info I have on him. I bet plod won't claim it is an infringement of the scumbag's privacy like the social worker did
Well done Mrs O.
Nice one mrs_o. I hope they throw the book at him!
This sort of thing worries me as a mother to a 14 year old with learning disabilities, I freak out at the thought that someone may try and take advantage of him in a similar way.
Your a star Mr O, I admire you & people like you for doing something that a "Lot think about doing" It's too late to think about dong something when that something happens, a lot of people may think I'm a nosey sod far from it,the reason, a lot of people with L.D. cannot speak up for themselves & that something can then happen, we have seen this of late, Panorama was one instance, then you had Bristol, if you see, notice something, do your duty it may help someone that get belted each night ( YES BELTED)
It's crazy these days how social services fail the vulnerable, I would fight tooth and nail to protect any clients of mine if I was a social worker, but like so many professions these days the wage can attract the wrong people for the job!
Well done mrs o, am so proud of you.
a relative was taken advantage, and that is putting it mildly by a couple of scumbags, the money concerned was in the thousands, a vulnerable adult, and the police were next to useless. Never did to find out who they were but i hope they rot.
Well done Mrs O !!
you are to be commended on your actions, obviously your concerns were justified and now you are indeed vindicated. thank you for letting us know. once again, well done
Well done Mrs O, shame the poor lady had to loose a few quid before the problem got taken seriously. Give yourself a pat on the back.
Glad to hear something is being done at last. Good for you.
Good one Mrs O - what a result!
Well done Mrs O - you deserve a medal! :)
