Nokia 6230i

I'm thinking of buying my daughter a Nokia 6230i for xmas, would it be a worthwhile buy or a "lemon" so to speak any views please advise

Great looking phone but camera could be better. Many of the latest phones have 2 megapixel camera's whereas this one only has a 1.3 megapixel one. I'm a great fan of Nokia's and a mate of mine and his girlfriend both have this phone and swear by it. Depends on your budget but in my opinion the Sony Eriksson K750i or the W800i are the best phones on the market at the moment for the money.

I have had this phone for a year now and its a great phone with no problems,I love Nokia

The only thing is as with all technology, its been around a while now and other phones will do more etc

yea, the 6230i is a great phone. great interface, faster than most other phones (something that annoys me with the sony ericssons of this world), and the camera is quite acceptable for what your daughter will probably be using it for. if she's after A4-sized pics, look elsewhere!
