Time flies!
5 Answers
I can't believe how quickly the last two weeks have flown. My last night of freedom. OH comes home tomorrow from his holiday in Spain. I have really enjoyed my time on my own. Eating what I want and when I want. No football, rugby or any sport at all - sheer bliss. Wouldn't like to be without him but I think it does you good to have a break.
Had a panic though tonight, the carbon monoxide alarm suddenly went off. Frightened the life out of me, only way to stop it was to take batteries out.
Then I sat there thinking. Why? I have no sense of smell at all so if there was any gases leaking I wouldn't know until it was too late. So had to get neighbour in to have a good smell round. Everything ok, went off because batteries needed changing! Did I feel an idiot, but better to be safe etc.
So all I have to do now is get my nerves sorted in the morning and drive to Bristol airport and pick them up.

Twin grandaughters are 6 on Friday so out for a meal as they are having a swimming party on Saturday so we opt out from that. Local country fair saturday. Sunday off to Malvern to stay at a hotel and meet up with12 friends from all round the country for dinner and a boozy evening, so his feet won't touch the floor! Keep em busy I say.
